Grabfast Gold H2O can be used to bond a wide spectrum of materials including decorative laminate, MDF, wood, plastics and vinyl's, rubber, wall claddings, polythene, concrete, metal, fabric and many more. It is important to test all the substrates to be bonded before going into production or undertaking a large contract.

IMPORTANT – When bonding to an unpainted plastered wall make ensure the wall is sized with a diluted PVA which has been allowed to dry before applying the adhesive, this is the case even if the wall has been mist coated with a watered down coat of paint.

It is the responsibility of the user to ensure the adhesive's suitability to the substrates. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to contact Gemini Adhesives technical department who will be more than happy to assist.

All materials should be conditioned at room temperature prior to fabrication and the room temperature should be above 16 deg C during application. Surfaces should be dry, clean, and grease and dust free.

Using a roller coat both the substrates applying an even flat coat of adhesive. Do not allow the adhesive to puddle or concentrate in one area. It is important to remember that GRABFAST GOLD H20 is a contact adhesive and forms its bond by adhering to itself so there must be sufficient adhesive. on both surfaces.

The substrates are ready to be brought together after the water has evaporated. This can be determined by the adhesive being dry to touch with no transference to the finger, the adhesive will turn from a milky white to a clear transparent appearance.

In cold conditions the drying time may become longer and the open time will be affected, however the adhesive will be become active again by applying a gentle heat. The substrates can then be brought together, ideally using a J-Roller, applying uniform pressure (70lb per linear inch is recommended). Please feel free to contact Gemini Adhesives Ltd to arrange an in-house or on site demonstration.
